We will be making Apple Strudel at our Oktoberfest Cooking Class.

We will be making Apple Strudel at our Oktoberfest Cooking Class.

Oktoberfest is an annual event in the beer halls of Germany and at many locations with German populations throughout the U.S. This annual harvest festival is legendary. In our Oktoberfest cooking class on Thursday, October 8 at the Holy Nativity Community Hall, you will learn some classic German dishes like Wiener Schnitzel and Apple Strudel along with some downright delicious dishes that you’ll want to make again and again. We will take a classic red cabbage and modernize it to make in a flash.

If you can’t get to the beer gardens in Munich for Oktoberfest, join us to learn how to make these German favorites and slosh it down with a beer.  Reserve your spot today.  See details below.

Here’s our Oktoberfest menu:

  • German Beer Cheese Soup
  • German Soft Pretzel Sticks
  • Wiener (Schweine) Schnitzel – made with pork instead of veal
  • Warm Red Cabbage Salad with Walnuts and Goat Cheese
  • Apple Strudel
