White Bean, Bacon and Tomato Soup

Start out the year with a healthy and freshly made bowl of soup and some fresh baked bread. Nothing is more comforting in winter than a warm bowl of soup.  Learn how to make home made stock and some new soup recipes that will warm you and your family this winter.  Join us on Thursday, January 14, 2016, 6 :00 – 9:00 at the Holy Nativity Community Hall when we will christen our new kitchen and play with all the new toys that have been installed over the last few months. Imagine the scent of freshly baked Whole Wheat bread wafting from our new convection oven.  You don’t want to miss this class!  Put it on your calendar and sign up today.

Home made Vegetable Stock
Cauliflower Soup with Roquefort
White Bean, Bacon and Tomato Soup
Thai Coconut Chicken Soup – Tom Kha Kai
Sopa Seca de Fideos – a Mexican noodle soup, vegetarian or with chicken
Quick and Easy Whole Wheat Bread

Patricia K. Rose, of Fresh Food in a Flash, will lead this hands-on cooking class on Thursday, January 14, 2016, 6:00-9:00 at the Holy Nativity Community Hall in Westchester. Once we complete the cooking, sit down and enjoy a meal you and your new friends made together with a glass of wine.
