Eggs Benedict top Brunch Favorites

Eggs Benedict top Brunch Favorites

After a winter of being closed inside, we want to open the doors, clean off the patio table and plan a brunch outside for family or friends.  Break out some new recipes that you’ve wanted to try or some old favorites.   Join us at our Brunch Favorites Cooking Class on Thursday, April 16, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Holy Nativity Community Hall and learn some classics and other brunch favorites with a twist.

This is a great opportunity to learn some tricky but classic techniques such as how to poach an egg and how to make one of the French mother sauces – a perfect Hollandaise…all in a Flash.  Come join the fun as we set our table for a Spring Brunch on April 16.  Here’s what will be cooking to put on our table:

  • How to make Poached Eggs for a classic Eggs Benedict/Florentine
  • How to make a real Hollandaise Sauce
  • Mustard-Dill Blinis with Smoked Salmon
  • Grilled Vegetable and Arugula Salad with Goat Cheese Crostini
  • Pineapple Noodle Kugel
  • Carrot Coconut Quick Bread with Cream Cheese Glaze
  • Decadent Bloody Mary Bar with the trimmings

Patricia K. Rose, of Fresh Food in a Flash will lead this hands-on cooking class on Thursday, April 16, 2015, 6:00-9:00 at the Holy Nativity Community Hall in Westchester.   Once we complete the cooking, sit down and enjoy a meal you and your new friends made together with a glass of wine.

Cooking Class fee $50 when you reserve by April 13. $55, thereafter if space is available.  To reserve your spot,  email Patricia@FreshFoodinaFlash.com.  Classes are held at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, 6700 West  83rd Street, Westchester, CA  90045.
