Almond Olive Oil Cake

Almond Olive Oil Cake

I just realized that our next Cooking Class is on 7-7-11.  Sounds like a lucky day to me!  Lucky in that we will be making and tasting some amazing dishes that I am playing around with.  The focus is the Summer Barbecue, so we’ll be heating up our brand new grill for some great new barbecue recipes.  Sign up now for this hands-on cooking class on which will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 at the Holy Nativity Community Hall in Westchester.  Details are below.

I’m begging Border Grill for their Ceviche recipe, which I’ve tasted now twice and can’t get it out of my head, which will be our appetizer.   I was at Bridgford Foods yesterday and we will be using their frozen Parkerhouse Style Rolls to make the buns for our Barbecue Pork Sliders.  I tasted the pictured shortcake made with olive oil at True Food Kitchen in Santa Monica Place that I’m researching.   I want the menu to be food that you can really make in a FLASH.   Here’s what I have so far:

So, it’s time to reserve your spot for this class.

Class fee $35 when you reserve by Monday, July 4,  $40 at the door.    To reserve your spot,  email Patricia@FreshFoodinaFlash.com.  Then write a check to “Fresh Food in a Flash”; mail it to Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, Cooking Class,  6700 West  83rd Street, Westchester, CA  90045.
