Oktoberfest is an annual event in the beer halls of Germany and at many locations with German populations throughout the U.S. This annual harvest festival is legendary. In our Oktoberfest cooking class on Thursday, October 8 at the Holy Nativity Community Hall, you will learn some classic German dishes like Wiener Schnitzel and Apple Strudel along with some downright delicious dishes that you’ll want to make again and again. We will take a classic red cabbage and modernize it to make in a flash.

- German Soft Pretzel Sticks
- Wiener (Schweine) Schnitzel – made with pork instead of veal
- Warm Red Cabbage Salad with Walnuts and Goat Cheese

Patricia K. Rose, of Fresh Food in a Flash will lead this hands-on cooking class on Thursday, October 8, 6:00-9:00 at the Holy Nativity Community Hall in Westchester. Once we complete the cooking, sit down and enjoy a meal you and your new friends made together while we hoist our beer or wine in celebration.
