Instead of drinking green beer at a crowded pub on St. Patrick’s Day, come celebrate with us at our Quick and Easy Dinners Cooking Class on Thursday, March 17 at the newly remodeled Holy Nativity Community Hall. You will learn some quick and easy recipes that will give your weeknight dinner repertoire a shake up. We are talking real Fresh Food in a Flash.
These are recipes that you will be able to make with little effort and obtain delicious and fresh results, like the Authentic Sesame Noodles pictured above, which can be made in only ten minutes. My eyes rolled in my head when I tasted these. How could something so simple taste so good? We are keeping it easy and adding in a little green for St. Patrick’s Day. We even have a couple recipes from Clodagh McKenna, from PBS Television’s Clodagh McKenna’s Irish Food Trails. And when we’re done cooking, we’ll hoist a pint of Guinness for the Irish as we enjoy all the delicious food we’ve made.
Wear a little green and be ready to party at this fun cooking class. Here’s what’s on the menu:
- Sheet Pan Chicken with Potatoes, Arugula and Greek Yogurt (the ultimate easy dinner)
- Asparagus, Mint and Ricotta Tartlets from Clodagh McKenna (vegetarian)
- Authentic Sesame Noodles (vegetarian) pictured above
- Indian Red Lentil and Veggie Stew (vegetarian)
- St. Paddy’s Day Kahlua Chocolate Mousse from Clodagh McKenna (made to look like a Mini Guinness)
Patricia K. Rose, of Fresh Food in a Flash will lead this hands-on cooking class on Thursday, March 17, 2016, 6:00-9:00 at the Holy Nativity Community Hall in Westchester.
