Katie Chin returns again to cook with us from her Everyday Thai Cookbook on Thursday, March 15, 2018, 6:00 – 9:30 pm at the Holy Nativity Community Hall. With fantastic Thai restaurants all over Los Angeles, you may have sampled some of these dishes and now you will learn how easy it is to make them in your own kitchen.
The Everyday Thai Cookbook shows even beginner cooks how to take everyday ingredients and transform them into a sweet, sour, spicy and delicious meal to remember.
Katie is the daughter of award-winning restaurateur Leeann Chin and literally grew up in the kitchen. She co-hosted the 2003 national PBS cooking series, Double Happiness with her mother. Katie has also made numerous appearances on The Today Show, The Food Network and more. She currently operates Wok Star Catering specializing in modern gourmet Asian cuisine and has been cooking up a storm all over Hollywood. I’m thrilled that she will be sharing her Thai cooking secrets with us on Thursday, March 15.
Here’s what we’ll be making at the Everyday Thai Cooking Class:
- Chiang Mai Chicken in Lettuce Cups
- Fragrant Coconut Fish in Banana Leaves
- Pineapple Fried Rice
- Asparagus, Shiitake Mushrooms and Tofu
- Coconut Cake with Mango Sauce
- Lemon Grass Ginger Ale
Our last class with Katie, Everyday Chinese, was a sellout, so sign up early for this evening where you will experience a delicious meal and an entertaining night out.
